in an effort to do espresso a hundred different ways, i found my new hot drink of the moment: an espresso chocolat.

the espresso chocolat is the adult version of hot cocoa. it’s sensual and not overtly sweet. the experience is akin to the Italian affogato, but it is, rightfully, in a category all its own.
the right amount of caffeinated depth to meld with the richness of unsweetened cocoa yields a hot treat that can be enjoyed in your morning routine or over a bed of ice.
based in whole-fat milk, this drink delivers a creamy goodness, and the cinnamon provides that extra note to rejuvenate your senses during the day.
the recipe is simple: 1 packet instant espresso (1 tbsp), 1 cup whole fat milk, 2 tsp white sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon and 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder.
Step 1: Heat 1 cup whole fat milk atop stove.
Step 2: Add 2 tsp white sugar, followed by 1 tsp cinnamon; stir this mix constantly before bringing it to a rapid boil.
Step 3: Stir in 1 packet instant espresso (1 tbsp) followed by 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder.
Step 4: Serve in a mug of your choice, or over a bed of ice and enjoy!
anyways, i hope this helps in your wellness journey.
